What notifications does the Pure app send?

The Pure app sends push notifications for price alerts, matched orders, accepted bids and asks, order status, favorites back in stock, and team announcements.

The Pure app sends push notifications about prices, about your orders, and about items you have favorited. It asks for permission to send them the first time you sign in, and are cully customizable. The types it sends are price alerts, an order being matched, someone accepting your bid or your ask, order-status updates at every step on both the buying and the selling side, an item you favorited becoming available again, and announcements from the Pure team. You choose what you want to see.

What kinds of notifications does the app send?

The app sends these types:

  • A price alert on a product.

  • An order being matched.

  • Someone accepting your bid or your ask.

  • An order-status update, at every step, on the buying side and the selling side.

  • An item you favorited becoming available again after it had gone out of stock.

  • An announcement from the Pure team, which can include a Pure Priority drop going live.

Each one reports something that has happened on Pure or on your account. None of them is advice about what to do next.

When does the app ask permission to send notifications?

It asks the first time you sign in. Until you allow it, the app does not send you notifications.

How do I set a price alert?

The app has price alerts, press the "Alert" button on a product page under the "Place a Bid or Ask" button. Set the price you want to be notified about.

Do notifications also arrive by email or text message?

Notifications from the app arrive as push notifications on your device AND your email.

How do I turn a notification type on or off?

In the top right hamburger button, inside Settings, under Notifications.
