Yes, Collect Pure has a mobile app, called Pure, for iPhone and iPad. It is not a separate service. The app and the website share one catalog, one set of order books, and one account, so anything you have already bought, sold, or listed is there when you sign in. In the app you can browse products, read the live bids and asks on any one of them, buy, sell, see price charts, and check where your buy orders, sell orders, and payouts stand. The same verification, fees, and shipping and insurance terms apply to any order on Pure, whichever way you place it.
Where do I get the Pure app?
The app is on the App Store, listed as Pure: Buy Gold & Silver. It is free to download and needs iOS 16.4 or later on iPhone, or iPadOS 16.4 or later on iPad.
Do I need a new account for the app?
No. You sign in with the account you already use on collectpure.com, using a one-time code sent to your email. After you enter the code, the app asks which organization you are signing in to. Every account on Pure belongs to one: dealers and companies trade here alongside individuals, and if you signed up as an individual, a one-person organization was created with your account. If you have not completed identity verification yet, you can do it inside the app, and it takes about 15 minutes. How identity verification works on Collect Pure covers what you need to have on hand.
What can I do in the Pure app?
Open any product in the catalog to see its order book, with the bids and asks currently posted on it and the premium over the live spot price. From there, add items to your cart and go through buy checkout, or go through sell checkout on the selling side. The app holds your buy orders and your sell orders with the detail on each one, along with your payouts, your favorites, your vault, and price charts for each metal. If you sell on Pure, your inventory and your listings are in the app as well, and there is a screen for suggesting a product Pure does not carry yet.
The app also sends push notifications, and it asks permission to send them the first time you sign in. The types it sends are price alerts, an order being matched, someone accepting your bid or your ask, order-status updates at every step on both the buying and the selling side, an item you favorited becoming available again, and announcements from the Pure team.
Is anything different in the app?
The marketplace rules do not change between the app and the website, because it is one marketplace underneath. Pure serves the United States only. Every buyer and every seller completes document verification. Buyers pay no marketplace fee. Every item is tested by Pure and checked by a person before it ships to the buyer, and shipments are insured in both directions, up to $125,000. Payout details are in the app to view and to change. Pure Priority orders work the same in the app as on the website, card payment included, with its 2.9% surcharge. Bank wire and ACH work on any order either way.
Can I keep using the Pure website?
Yes, and nothing has moved into the app only. Your account, your orders, and your listings are the same records in both places. Use whichever one suits you, or both.
